Creative technology & interactive art
StarCat Labs
My lab for creative technology and interactive art.
Everything I make comes back to immersion: nights where people stop watching and start taking part. Technology is the newest tool I'm using to get there. Light that answers when you move. A song that turns into an idea. Games hidden on business cards. When it's done well, you don't notice the tech at all. You just feel more inside the moment.
I'm an emerging creative technologist, learning in public and building as I go, so watch this space.
The projects
In the lab
New · The stars talk back
And Said Star
The first living temple of the self, where the stars talk back. Speak with all nine systems that wrote your soul blueprint, from Western and Vedic astrology to Human Design and Gene Keys, and they answer you, debate each other and show you where they agree.
The name is a play on ancestor: everything is written in the stars, and we are made of them.
Starcat
A little phone game that lives on my business card for Choreomania at the Mütter Museum. Scan the card and play. Try it
The Goddess Oracle
Eight questions reveal which of thirty-three goddesses walks beside you, with her story, her mantra and a keepsake card. Live on the Goddess Gathering and Crowned sites. Consult the Oracle (opens in a new tab)
Tiny Rave Kandi Quest
A ten-room phone game for kids that lives on the Tiny Rave business card. Catch beads, make and trade kandi bracelets, and learn PLUR (peace, love, unity, respect) along the way.
The Star Portal
Choose your path through the stars, reveal your star portal destiny, and draw your tarot card for today.
Per Astra LED constellation
An LED constellation of stars on the playa. Burning Man, August 2027.
Eurekaraoke
An interactive piece built on the two things everyone does in the shower: sing, and have their best ideas. Burning Man, August 2027.
Collaborate
Let's build something to step inside
Building something interactive, or want to make something with me? I'm looking for collaborators, makers and people who like to tinker, and for venues, brands and events that want a piece of interactive art of their own.
Let's co-create something magical and meaningful.
